His tenure at Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. further solidified his expertise. As Country Head for Bangladesh and Vice President of Operations, Sumit oversaw multi-country operations, optimized manufacturing processes, and led high-performing teams to deliver results in complex international environments. Earlier, as Senior General Manager of Operations, he focused on capacity optimization, quality assurance, and waste reduction, ensuring production met stringent timelines and standards.
Sumit also boasts a long-standing association with Orient Fashion Exports India Pvt. Ltd., where he climbed the ranks from Factory Manager to Head of Operations and later Profit Center Head and International Business Development. In these roles, he successfully managed regional plant operations, onboarded new buyers, aligned cross-functional teams to meet buyer requirements, and drove international business growth while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
