Ministry of Textiles Launches Smart App for Bharat Tex 2026

In a significant step towards creating a digitally integrated textile trade ecosystem, the Ministry of Textiles has officially launched the smart mobile application for Bharat Tex 2026, India’s flagship global textile exhibition scheduled to take place from 14–17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam. The app was unveiled by Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, as part of the event’s digital-first strategy aimed at enhancing networking, sourcing, and visitor engagement across the textile value chain.

Designed as a unified digital companion for exhibitors, buyers, delegates, sourcing consultants, speakers and visitors, the Bharat Tex 2026 App will offer seamless access to exhibitor discovery, B2B matchmaking, venue navigation, knowledge sessions, live updates, digital badges and lead capture functionalities through a single interface.

One of the key highlights of the platform is its AI-powered Smart Assistant, developed to provide 24×7 conversational support for attendees. Users can access information related to schedules, booth locations, directions, meetings and event services through a user-friendly interface, making the overall exhibition experience more efficient and interactive.

The application also introduces advanced business networking capabilities, allowing exhibitors and buyers to identify potential partners, schedule meetings, manage availability and digitally track interactions. A QR-enabled Lead Wallet feature has been integrated to facilitate quick lead capture and structured post-event follow-up.

For international buyers and sourcing professionals, the app includes an Exhibitor Discovery Module that enables company searches based on product category, exhibitor type and business segment. Interactive floor maps and smart navigation tools will further help visitors locate booths and navigate the expansive venue with ease.

According to the Ministry, the launch of the Bharat Tex 2026 App reflects India’s growing focus on combining technology with global textile trade promotion. The initiative is expected to strengthen business matchmaking, improve attendee engagement and support data-driven participation during the mega textile event
