Supriya Guptaa has been appointed Assistant General Manager – Buying & Merchandising at House of Anita Dongre Limited, where she will lead buying and merchandising for the AND brand.
In her new role, Supriya will be responsible for driving category strategy, assortment planning, inventory productivity and commercial performance, strengthening the brand’s merchandising and category growth initiatives.
With over 15 years of experience across the fashion and lifestyle retail sector, Supriya brings extensive expertise in strategic buying, merchandise planning, OTB governance, vendor partnerships, inventory optimization and category development. Her experience spans category leadership, commercial planning, brand management and retail operations.
Before joining House of Anita Dongre, Supriya served as Category Lead – Fashion (Men’s & Women’s Wear) at Pepe Jeans India Limited, where she focused on category performance and fashion merchandising. She previously held the position of Category Lead – Buying & Merchandising at Shoppers Stop, gaining further experience in category management and retail buying.
A significant part of Supriya’s career was spent with Trent Ltd, where she worked for nearly 10 years across multiple roles. Her journey at Trent included Category Lead – Buying, Merchandising & Operations; Retail Category Planner & Buyer (Lead); Assistant Operations Manager; Brand Manager; and Management Trainee.
Across these roles, she has developed strong capabilities in assortment architecture, merchandise planning, inventory management, vendor relationships, OTB management and commercial performance, along with a deep understanding of fashion retail operations.
Her appointment at House of Anita Dongre comes as the company continues to strengthen its fashion and lifestyle portfolio, with Supriya’s extensive retail and merchandising experience expected to support the continued growth and evolution of the AND brand.
