Sachin Goel has shared that he is starting a new position as Senior Manager – India Sourcing at Contempo Limited, marking an important milestone in his professional journey. In this role, he will focus on strengthening sourcing strategies, building supplier partnerships, and supporting the company’s growth across key apparel categories.
Sachin brings with him rich experience from his recent role as Assistant General Manager at Asmara Group, where he was instrumental in managing sourcing operations and driving collaboration across teams and vendors. His ability to align business objectives with efficient sourcing practices has been a consistent strength throughout his career.
Prior to this, Sachin held progressive leadership positions at Newtimes Group of Companies, serving as Merchandise Manager and later as Divisional Merchandise Manager, where he led teams, handled complex merchandising portfolios, and supported production and category growth. He has also worked with global organizations including Ascena Retail Group and Sears Holdings Global Sourcing, developing strong capabilities in knit and woven sourcing and vendor development.
Sachin’s career foundation was built through long-standing tenures at Li & Fung India, Orient Craft Limited, Shahi Exports, and Sewa International Fashions, giving him comprehensive, end-to-end exposure from product development and production coordination to shipment and business expansion. With his deep industry knowledge and leadership skills, he is well placed to make a strong impact at Contempo Limited.
