Kristin S. has shared that she is starting a new position as Director of Sales and Merchandising at VCNY Home, marking an exciting new chapter in her career. In this role, she will lead sales strategy, merchandising direction, and account growth initiatives, supporting VCNY Home’s continued expansion across key retail channels and product categories.
Kristin brings extensive experience in sales leadership, merchandising, and strategic account management within the home and lifestyle space. Prior to joining VCNY Home, she served as Director of Sales at Sunham Home Fashions, where she led growth across major national accounts including Costco, BJ’s, Walmart, Dillard’s, Belk, Kohl’s, Kroger, Fred Meyer, At Home, and AAFES. Her responsibilities included developing data-driven growth strategies, managing forecasting and budgets, and partnering cross-functionally with design, packaging, QA, production, and logistics teams to ensure speed to market and flawless execution.
Earlier, Kristin held leadership roles at NYC Alliance and Delta Children, where she directed private label and wholesale sales across clubs and mass channels in North America and international markets. She managed full P&L responsibilities, scaled wholesale businesses, launched new programs, and drove licensing strategies for globally recognized brands. Her experience spans in-store, DTC ecommerce, and complex global supply chain models, giving her a strong end-to-end commercial perspective.
Kristin’s career foundation was built through progressive roles in account management, buying, allocation, and visual merchandising at organizations such as EnVogue International, Himatsingka Seide Limited, Stage Stores, Claire’s, A|X Armani Exchange, and Lane Bryant. With this well-rounded background across retail, wholesale, private label, and merchandising, Kristin S. is well positioned to add significant value to VCNY Home’s sales and merchandising leadership as the company continues to strengthen its market presence.
