IMA Asia the Indian arm of IMA SPA, Italy participated at Gartex for the first time and reported a good response from exhibition. Known for providing Cutting Room Solutions for over 40 years the company recently launched new cutting equipment in 2017 by the name Typhoon in Europe which has been receiving an encouraging response from customers all over India. “This machine is entirely built on a latest technology, which is CNC (Computer Numerical Control) for textile markets, it has a very high speed and precision and is a perfect answer for manufacturers looking for efficient and smart solutions in the cutting room,” said Ponnuswamy Gunasekaran, MD, Ima Asia.
The market according to him is a bit slow but with manufacturers looking for automatic solutions it is expected to come back on track soon. “Of course it has to grow and we are waiting for that day.” stated Guna.
