Eligible employees will receive a separation package, including severance, benefits assistance and outplacement support, according to a company press release. The department store in 2005 bought a majority interest in Jeffrey and hired founder Jeffrey Kalinsky as director of designer merchandising. Nordstrom and Jeffrey stores shared what he called “a relentless commitment to the customer, and a focus on providing them with the best possible service and merchandise offering,” calling Kalinsky “an icon in the fashion industry.”
