Grasim Achieves Record Annual Revenue of ₹1.31 Lakh Crore in FY 2023-24, Surpasses $15 Billion

Birla Pivot, the B2B e-commerce platform for building materials, has surpassed the ₹1,000 crore revenue milestone in its first year of operations.

The business has rapidly expanded its portfolio to include 35 product categories and over 18,000 SKUs, sourced from more than 150 Indian and international brands, and now delivers to over 200 cities across 25 states. Birla Pivot is aiming to achieve $1 billion in revenue within the next three years.

The Cellulosic Fibres division, encompassing both Cellulosic Staple Fibre (CSF) and Cellulosic Fashion Yarn, reported a segment revenue of ₹14,949 crore.

This impressive performance was driven by improved utilization levels and a decline in input costs, leading to a 67% year-on-year growth in EBITDA. The CSF business achieved its highest-ever sales volume of 810 KT in FY24, marking a 14% year-on-year increase, reflecting strong demand from the downstream value chain.

In Grasim’s Chemical business, Caustic sales volumes reached a record high of 1,205 KT, while Speciality Chemicals sales volumes also peaked at 95 KT, contributing 26% to the total Chemicals segment revenue. The segment’s total revenue stood at ₹8,213 crore, with an EBITDA of ₹1,054 crore.
