The 6th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond Show (FAB Show 2026), organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), was inaugurated today at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Scheduled from April 2 to 4, 2026, the show brings together the entire textile and garment value chain under one roof, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the industry.

The opening day witnessed an impressive turnout, with strong participation from export houses, garment manufacturers, sourcing teams, and international textile suppliers—reinforcing the show’s stature as a key sourcing destination for the apparel ecosystem.

The show was inaugurated by distinguished industry leaders including Rushabh Gala (Zola Fashions), Deepak Sheta (Indoera), Santosh Bandari Yadav (Aditya Birla), Kapil Biradar (Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail), Pragati Srivastava (Raymond Lifestyle), and Essdee Shanmugasundaram, President of the South India Hosiery Manufacturers’ Association, among others. Office bearers from key industry associations such as The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association, Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan, Indore Readymade Vastra Vyapari Sangh, and Eastern UP Exporters Association were also felicitated during the inauguration ceremony.

Spanning nearly 2 lakh sq. ft., FAB Show 2026 features over 250 exhibitors showcasing innovations in fabrics, trims, accessories, machinery, and allied services. Recognised as one of India’s largest B2B sourcing platforms for the garment industry, the show offers a comprehensive marketplace for manufacturers, exporters, retailers, private labels, and e-commerce players to explore new materials, forge sourcing partnerships, and enhance operational efficiency.

The show is expected to attract over 14,000 trade visitors from more than 320 cities across India, along with international buyers from 27 countries including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the United States, UAE, Egypt, Mauritius, and China.

A key highlight of this edition is the debut of the International Pavilion, featuring leading global suppliers, complemented by strong participation from prominent domestic textile hubs such as Surat, Ahmedabad, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Gurugram & NCR, Erode, Tiruppur, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Curated business networking sessions are also being organised to facilitate meaningful engagement between brands, corporates, exporters, buyers, and key decision-makers.

Speaking on the occasion, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said,

The Surat Pavilion, featuring over 50 exhibitors, highlights the city’s transformation from a polyester-centric hub to a diversified textile powerhouse, now offering a wide range of cotton and sustainable fabric solutions.

Underscoring the growing role of technology, FAB Show 2026 also features select Artificial Intelligence solution providers offering advanced capabilities across design, production, inventory management, and retail. A dedicated “Future Factory/Green Factories” segment by Magus Fashion City showcases next-generation sustainable manufacturing infrastructure, reflecting the industry’s shift towards smart and responsible production.
