In his new role, Alok will focus on driving retail expansion, strengthening business development initiatives, and enhancing the overall retail ecosystem as the company continues to scale its presence across key markets.
Alok brings with him a strong blend of retail operations, business development, and strategic planning experience. Prior to joining ABLBL, he served as Senior Manager – Retail at SleepyCat, where he played a key role in retail growth initiatives, store performance management, and customer experience enhancement. His work involved building scalable retail processes and supporting the brand’s expansion journey.
Earlier, Alok was associated with BlueStone, where he handled roles across retail operations and area business management. During this phase, he managed store operations, led teams, drove customer experience initiatives, and worked on P&L management, sales strategy, and training and development. His hands-on exposure to multi-store operations strengthened his understanding of operational excellence and people management in organized retail.
Alok began his professional journey with Reliance Industries Limited, gaining experience in sector planning, data analysis, and engineering operations. He has also worked in analytical and editorial roles, adding a strong data-driven and communication-oriented perspective to his profile. With this diverse background spanning retail, analytics, and strategic planning, Alok Pandey is well positioned to contribute meaningfully to Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited’s retail business development and long-term growth objectives.
