Welspun Enterprises Ltd (WEL) has announced the reappointment of Balkrishan Goenka as Executive Chairman and Sandeep Garg as Managing Director, effective June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. The appointments are subject to shareholder approval at the company’s 31st Annual General Meeting.
Goenka’s reappointment is for a one-year term as Whole-time Director, not liable to retire by rotation. Garg’s reappointment, also for one year, is subject to retirement by rotation.
The company confirmed that neither Goenka nor Garg have inter-se relationships with other board members and are not debarred by SEBI or any regulatory authority.
