Decathlon Enters Into Quick Commerce with Zepto

Decathlon, the global sportswear and sports equipment retailer, has joined forces with quick commerce platform Zepto to offer faster delivery of its products to shoppers across India. The partnership aims to meet the rising demand for active lifestyle products by ensuring rapid deliveries through Zepto’s platform.

Sankar Chatterjee, CEO of Decathlon India, commented on the collaboration:

“As the demand for an active lifestyle in the country continues to grow, we are committed to being part of this journey. This partnership further strengthens our mission to move people through the wonders of sport by quickly and efficiently delivering sporting products and equipment directly to their doorsteps.”

The service is currently available in 16 major cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Through Zepto, shoppers can access a wide range of Decathlon’s products, such as clothing and accessories for team sports, outdoor activities, and water sports.

In addition to expanding its e-commerce presence, Decathlon has been growing its physical footprint in India. The company plans to increase its store count to 190 over the next five years and aims to enhance its product sourcing within the country.
