FOG Software Group Announces Strategic Merger Between NedGraphics and Optitex

FOG Software Group (“FOG”), a division of Constellation Software Inc. and a leading provider of vertical market software solutions, proudly announces a key strategic merger between NedGraphics Software (“NedGraphics”) and Optitex Ltd. (“Optitex”). This merger is set to drive innovation and accelerate business growth in the textile and apparel software industry.

The merger aims to fortify the combined business unit’s position as a global leader, boasting an expansive portfolio in the textile and apparel software sector. By leveraging best practices and market knowledge from both organizations, the unified entity will continue to serve customers under the well-established and recognizable brand names, NedGraphics and Optitex. This reflects their unique positioning in different market segments.

This strategic merger is designed to harness the strengths of both companies, enhancing their ability to provide globally aligned resources and complementary product offerings. The merger aims to improve business operations, workflows, and supply chains for customers worldwide.

Following the appointment of Jenny Tcharnaia as Textile and Apparel Group President at Constellation Software Inc. earlier this year, Frank Maeder, the current Interim President of NedGraphics, will assume the role of President of the newly merged NedGraphics and Optitex business group, effective immediately. Maeder, who has served as NedGraphics VP of Product since October 2022, brings over two decades of experience in the graphic technology industry. His extensive background includes key managerial roles at industry-leading firms such as Creo, Eastman Kodak, X-Rite Pantone, and Epson Europe.

Throughout his career, Frank Maeder has demonstrated a remarkable ability to launch and expand initiatives, guiding them towards lasting success and fostering significant growth in new projects and products. As President, Maeder will spearhead efforts to ensure continuous innovation, business development, and customer satisfaction.

Maeder will be supported by a leadership team with a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of market dynamics. This team will play a crucial role in driving the newly merged entity towards its strategic goals and ensuring a seamless transition for customers and stakeholders.

The merger between NedGraphics and Optitex marks a significant milestone in the textile and apparel software industry, setting the stage for enhanced capabilities, innovation, and growth.
