Uniqlo to Open Flagship Store in London’s Coal Drops Yard

Uniqlo Suspends Operations in Russia

Uniqlo is set to open a new flagship store in the Coal Drops Yard development at King’s Cross this autumn, marking a significant milestone in its London expansion. The fashion retailer will occupy a 12,000 sq ft unit across three floors, taking over the former Wolf & Badger store. Each floor will feature Uniqlo’s men’s, women’s, and children’s collections.

Alessandro Dudech, Uniqlo UK’s chief operating officer, expressed excitement about the new location, describing Coal Drops Yard as a “bustling, family-friendly, design-led retail destination.”

James Rayner, head of retail at King’s Cross, highlighted the importance of the deal, stating, “By its own definition, Uniqlo is ‘made for everyone, everywhere’ and that is an ethos which really resonates with us.” The new store supports the retail strategy of King’s Cross, offering a mix of well-known and pioneering independent brands.

Uniqlo has been rapidly expanding in London, having recently opened its third store on Oxford Street in April.
