At Texprocess’19, Rotondi Group SRL, based in the outskirts of Milan, shared with Team PS that the exhibition was more about introducing new technologies and understand the market than to actually sell them. A total of 17 new machines were displayed at Rotondi booth.
DavideRotondi, MD, Rotondi Group S.R.L said, “We don’t think the exhibition is there to showcase standard machines but it is to show new developments and some experimental machines or prototype to understand if the machines have a market.” He further added, “The exhibitors here are showing concepts that will probably be available in 2-3 years of time. We also have decided to show new advancements. All together we have total 17 new machines including new shirt pressing machine, knitwear machines, jeans technology and new lines of fusing machines.”
Davide believes that the automated machines are still complicated to promote in Indian continents and south-east Asia; however the mindset is changing gradually. “We are showing machines that may not be popular right away but that the market will probably need in the upcoming years. We believe the prices are also reasonable. We are showing the industry 4.0 technology here”, said Davide.
Share about future plans Davide informed that the company now plans to expand its reach in China. “We are getting better customers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka that we have created a market base over the past few years,” said Davide.
