Garment tech provider Lectra announces change in top management

France-based Lectra, a premium technology provider to garment and fashion industry, has appointed Gianluca Croci as Managing Director of Lectra France.

Croci, with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, previously worked with Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli and Marcolin, at top positions. Most recently, he was the Sales & Marketing Director for Technogym France, a designer of sports equipment.

At Lectra, Croci will work towards facilitation of the digitalization to empower fashion companies in France to make a successful transition to Industry 4.

“France is known worldwide for being a leader in fashion and technological innovation. It is a country where brands, retailers and manufacturers have already begun their transformation towards Industry 4.0, said Croci.

The new MD is proud to back Lectra customers’ hunt for greater connectivity and collaboration in their operations, as well as in assisting them to make the shift to personalization.

In the press statement issues, the company said that Croci’s efforts are also attached to the activities of Lectra Southern Europe & North Africa. From the sharing of know-how amid French and Italian firms to the assimilation into their environment of the Moroccan and Tunisian subcontractors there are many synergies in the region’s fashion industry.
