Brit womenswear retailer Dorothy Perkins to foray into physical Indian retail

London-based fashion retailer Dorothy Perkins, which first forayed into the Indian fashion retail market four years back via Jabong, is now mulling to open brick-and-mortar stores in the country.

Notably, Dorothy Perkins retails both its own range of clothes and branded fashion goods, and it is a part of the Arcadia Group.

The fast-fashion brand first tested the market online before entering into the offline space. The process has helped numerous brands to understand the market before foraying into offline retail.

At present, Dorothy Perkins, part of Arcade Group, serves in the United Kingdom, Ireland, India, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Iceland, Indonesia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Malta, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.

Markedly, brands like Under Armour, Replayand others have also tested the market.
