Anna Milne joins John Lewis & Partners as Director of Merchandising

Anna Milne has announced that she has taken on a new role as Director of Merchandising at John Lewis & Partners, marking another strong milestone in her accomplished merchandising career.

Anna brings deep experience across luxury, designer, and premium retail — with senior leadership exposure across some of the industry’s most respected names.

Before joining John Lewis & Partners, Anna served as Merchandising Director at NET-A-PORTER & MR

PORTER, where she played a pivotal role in building product strategy, elevating assortment planning, and strengthening demand-led fashion buying.

Prior to that, she spent over seven years with THE OUTNET.COM, rising through key merchandising positions — from Merchandise Manager, Senior Merchandiser, to eventually becoming Head of Merchandising, driving commercial decisions across categories, pricing, sell-through efficiency, and customer-focused merchandising frameworks.

Her merchandising foundation started with notable roles at ASOS, Jules B, and House of Fraser, progressing from Merchandiser to Senior Merchandiser and Assistant Merchandiser earlier in her career giving her both hands-on operational experience and strategic leadership vision.

With a strong track record of shaping data-driven product direction and commercial outcomes, Anna’s move to John Lewis & Partners positions her to play a crucial role in evolving the brand’s merchandise architecture, premium product vision, and consumer-first retail approach.

A well-deserved move and an exciting new chapter.
