Famous fashion designer Manish Arora’s namesake fashion brand has reportedly been knocked down by bad business deals, unpaid wages, lawsuits and vendor disputes that began around three years ago.
The novel coronavirus pandemic acted as the last straw that breaks the camel’s back.
The Manish Arora store in Paris is closed, and the company has reportedly informed staff that it is now in liquidation. Earlier this year, Arora parted ways with Deepak Bhagwani, his business partner of several decades.
The French holding company for Arora’s Indian subsidiary reportedly went into liquidation in July. The Manish Arora website is also shut for maintenance now.
