Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, Inaugurated the India Tex Trend Fair at Tokyo, Japan

Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, inaugurated the event and emphasized the importance of deepening Indo-Japan textile trade ties. He encouraged Japanese companies to increase their sourcing from India, highlighting India’s rich textile heritage and manufacturing capabilities.

Chairman of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), Shri Sudhir Sekhri, participated in the 16th India Tex Trend Fair (ITTF) held in Tokyo, Japan — a significant platform to highlight India’s textile and apparel strengths.

In his remarks, Shri Sudhir Sekhri underlined India’s strong production ecosystem and commitment to sustainability and quality. He urged Indian exporters to capitalize on the Japanese market and foster long-term, value-based partnerships in the textile sector.
