Picanol, which specializes in the production of weaving machines and technology for the textile industry, is all pumped up to exhibit at the upcoming in 16th Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG) in Bangladesh.
The previous show had more than 1,200 booths in 19 halls with 1,100 exhibitors from 36 countries. The strong foreign representation emphasizes the high level of internationality of the expo. Over 35,100 visitation was registered during the 2018 edition.
The trade show will be held from January 9-12, 2019 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Picanol can be found at the booth of its agent, Spintex Technology (Booth 7-126).
It is pertinent to mention here that Bangladesh is a key market for Picanol where investments are being made in denim, bottom weights, shirting and bedsheeting fabrics. The company has both rapier (OptiMax-i, TerryMax-i) and airjet weaving machines (OMNIplusSummum and TERRYplusSummum) for the operations.
At the 4-day show, textile machinery occupies over 54 percent of product interest, and Picanol woud want to capitalise on that at the upcoming edition.
