Pratibha Syntex Ltd (PSL), that has been focusing on sustainable textile manufacturing for many years is yet again felicitated for its services and initiatives.
The group attained Recruiter of the Year Award and CITI’s Birla Economic & Textile Research Foundation Award for sustainable and innovative manufacturing in textile mills.
Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Narendra Tomar and Minister of State for Textile Dharshna Vikram Jardosh presented the CITI’s Birla Economic & Textile Research Foundation Award to Shreyaskar Chaudhary (Managing Director, Pratibha Syntex Ltd) during the golden jubilee celebration of CITI CDRA held at New Delhi recently.
The group has also had entered into collaboration with Good Fashion Fund for the replacement and expansion of their spinning, processing and garmenting divisions.
The new machines are energy and water efficient.
Recently the effluent treatment plant has also been converted to a biological process, reducing landfill waste by 85%.
Rooftop solar panels of 2.4 MW has also been installed and another 4 MW is under way.
Felicitating the drive to empower people, Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented the recruiter of the year award to H S Jha Vice President HR, Pratibha Syntex Ltd.
