LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton made a stunning contribution to the Olympic torch relay as the flame made its way through Paris this past weekend.

The torch, a symbol of the upcoming Olympic Games, visited iconic Parisian landmarks and LVMH properties, underscoring the luxury group’s role as a premium partner for the Games.

Thierry Henry, the renowned soccer star and manager of France’s Olympic soccer team, kicked off the Paris segment by carrying the torch from a specially crafted Louis Vuitton trunk on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

The ceremonial relay featured an array of events, including performances by Banda Paname and Compagnie Santo Giuliano in the evening.

On Monday morning, the festivities continued at LVMH’s Jardin d’Acclimatation amusement park, where public activities included workshops by brands such as Guerlain and Make Up For Ever.

The torch relay also saw high-profile figures such as Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and LVMH’s Bernard Arnault gather for a photo op in front of the “Olympic Rings” painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol.

The day concluded with a five-stage relay at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, involving employees from LVMH’s various brands, marking a vibrant start to the countdown to the Olympic Games, set to begin on July 26.
