Dipty Jalan Elevated to Chief Human Resources Officer at Usha International

Usha International has announced the appointment of Dipty Jalan as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), marking a significant milestone in her long-standing association with the organization.

With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Dipty brings deep expertise across talent management, learning and development, organizational design, diversity and inclusion, and HR operations. Her appointment underscores Usha’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and driving strategic transformation through people-first leadership.

Dipty’s journey with Usha spans more than nine years, during which she has held several progressive leadership roles, including Vice President – Head Talent Management, L&D, D&I, HR Operations and Regional HRBP, and Assistant Vice President – Talent Management and HR Operations. Her leadership has been pivotal in developing a future-ready workforce and aligning HR strategies with the company’s evolving business goals.

Before her elevation, Dipty briefly served as Corporate Vice President – Head of Talent Management, Learning, Culture and OD at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, further strengthening her cross-industry HR perspective. Her earlier roles at MTS – Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd and Right Management involved key contributions in organizational development, employee engagement, and leadership development.

An alumna of the Xavier Institute of Management, Dipty is recognized for her strategic HR acumen, people-centric leadership, and deep understanding of cultural transformation.

Her appointment as CHRO is expected to bolster Usha International’s growth agenda through enhanced focus on talent, culture, and innovation.
