Calvin Klein Names Ayub Mohamed Chief Product Officer to Strengthen Global Product Strategy

Fashion veteran joins the brand from Lacoste, bringing more than 20 years of experience across product development, merchandising and global fashion leadership.

Calvin Klein has appointed Ayub Mohamed as its new Chief Product Officer, effective January 25, 2027, as the American fashion brand looks to strengthen its global product strategy and enhance commercial performance across categories and markets.

The appointment was announced on October 22, 2026, by Calvin Klein, Inc., which operates under PVH Corp. Mohamed will oversee the brand’s global product organisation, covering design and merchandising, with responsibility for developing and executing a cohesive product strategy that reinforces brand identity while responding to evolving consumer preferences.

He will join the Calvin Klein Global Leadership Team and report directly to David Savman, Global Brand President of Calvin Klein.

Mohamed joins the company from Lacoste, where he served as Executive Vice President of Product. In that role, he led the global product organisation across design, merchandising and development, while helping advance a more consumer-focused and channel-oriented approach to product strategy.

With more than two decades of international experience, Mohamed has built a career spanning luxury, fashion and lifestyle brands. His expertise includes product assortment optimisation, category development, profitability improvement and translating creative concepts into commercially successful collections.

Before joining Lacoste, Mohamed held the position of Chief Merchandising Officer at Kenzo, overseeing global product strategy and assortment development across categories. His previous leadership roles include positions at Tory Burch and Tory Sport, Donna Karan and DKNY, as well as Givenchy.

Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Levi Strauss & Co., where he led men’s design, merchandising and product development, progressing from regional responsibilities to global leadership.

David Savman said Mohamed’s ability to connect a brand’s creative identity with commercially relevant products would be valuable as Calvin Klein continues to develop its offering across international markets. He highlighted opportunities to leverage the brand’s distinctive identity and expand its potential across product categories.

Mohamed described Calvin Klein as one of the world’s most recognisable fashion brands, citing its distinctive design codes and established product offering. He expressed his enthusiasm for working with Savman and the wider team to build on the brand’s strengths and create assortments that resonate with consumers worldwide.

The appointment underscores Calvin Klein’s focus on strengthening the connection between design, merchandising and market demand. By bringing product development and commercial priorities together under experienced global leadership, the brand aims to sharpen its assortment strategy and improve its relevance across consumer segments and sales channels.

Mohamed’s appointment comes as fashion companies increasingly prioritise consumer-led product development, category productivity and consistent brand positioning across global markets. His cross-brand experience is expected to support Calvin Klein’s efforts to translate its established identity into products that meet changing consumer expectations while delivering sustainable business growth.
