American Apparel poised for a resurgence in Australia

American Apparel is making a triumphant return to the Australian market, along with its expansion into New Zealand, unveiling its latest season’s lineup through online channels.

Chuck Ward, President of Sales, Marketing, and Distribution at Gildan Activewear, the parent company of American Apparel, expressed excitement about broadening accessibility to the iconic brand in Australia and New Zealand. “We are thrilled to be increasing access to American Apparel for shoppers in Australia and New Zealand, who can now buy this iconic brand with just the click of a button,” said Ward.

The brand is set to introduce its latest collections and styles to these markets, accompanied by the launch of the Craft the Culture campaign. This initiative aims to inspire customers to embrace their creativity, express individuality, and craft lasting memories through American Apparel’s products.

Among the new offerings are ReFlex lightweight fleece, Heavyweight cotton garment dyed t-shirts and muscle tees, Pique unisex mockneck t-shirts paired with matching unisex gym shorts, Sueded unisex t-shirts, and Unisex CVC henley t-shirts. Additionally, American Apparel’s classic staples like the 2001 Fine Jersey Unisex t-shirt and the 1301 Heavyweight Cotton Unisex t-shirt will be readily available on the website.

Furthermore, the company will continue to offer its products for wholesale purchase, ensuring accessibility to a wider market.
