Mango Expands Teenwear Division in UK with First Mango Teen Store Outside London

Spanish fashion giant Mango is accelerating the expansion of its teenwear division in the UK with the launch of its first standalone Mango Teen store outside London, opening in Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow.

The move marks a strategic milestone in Mango’s broader efforts to capture the growing purchasing power of British teenagers and solidify Mango Teen’s presence in one of the brand’s most important European markets.

This latest opening, which took place on 1 August, becomes Mango Teen’s third UK standalone location, joining existing stores on Carnaby Street and Westfield London. It also marks the brand’s first-ever presence in Scotland, and a significant step in its international expansion roadmap.

“Teenagers today use fashion to express themselves like never before,” said Berta Moral, Global Director of Mango Kids and Teen. “We see a clear market niche for contemporary, youthful fashion at affordable prices.”

Mango Teen was initially introduced as a capsule collection in 2020 and became a standalone brand by April 2021. Since then, the line has enjoyed robust performance across both physical and digital retail platforms. The brand reports double-digit sales growth year-on-year, with its 2024 turnover for Mango Teen and Mango Kids reaching €293.2 million, up 19.2% from €246 million in 2023.
