Textile Technology Manufacturer Karl Mayer’s Innovation In Textile Brings Out New Velour Fabric

Karl Mayer Velour Fabric

German textile technology manufacture Karl Mayer has made a breakthrough innovation in textile with a supersoft, stretch, high-end velour fabric.

The textile manufacturing technology provider claims that the fabric caresses the skin and body with its tender drape. Also, its striking glitter brings the glamour effect to the fabric.

As per the press release issues by Karl Mayer, the ultra-soft fabric range from silky pyjamas, tracksuits, to bathrobes and under garments.

The innovation in textile was produced on a warp knitting machine HKS 3-M, 280. The company demonstrated at the textile technology expo ITMA ASIA + CITME 2018 in Shanghai, China, previously.

The working of the Karl Mayer textile machine as explained goes: ground guide bars, GB 2 and GB 3, operated on a counter-notation tricot lapping from polyester, FDY and eglantine, to manufacture.

GB 1 was also handing out polyester. In tandem with a textured microfiber yarn as a DTY version, an extra-fluffy surface was manufactured, the company said in a press release.

The under laps made from the microfiber yarns are raised to construct the velour layer.

The process is so sensitive that there’s a risk that the fabric may tear if the procedure is not carried out properly.
