Next Level Apparel Appoints Brett Bjorkman as CEO, Ushering in a New Era of Ethical, Efficient & Global Growth

Next Level Apparel has announced the appointment of Brett Bjorkman as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of founder and former CEO, Joe Simsoly. The California-based, family-founded company is known for supplying premium, ethically sourced blank apparel to global partners — and Bjorkman steps into the role with three decades of brand and wholesale experience behind him.

His career spans leadership tenures with Nike, Boardriders, Augusta Sportswear, and most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Next Level Apparel — giving him end-to-end visibility of sourcing, factory operations, risk, sustainability, and compliance. Bjorkman has been instrumental in strengthening operational efficiency and advancing systems that ensure every Next Level Apparel product meets the brand’s commitments to consistency, quality, and traceability.

Under his leadership, the company will continue to scale internationally — building more resilient supply chains, expanding its market footprint, and deepening alignment with global compliance and provenance partners including FLA, Altana, and Oritain.

With more than 500 employees across the U.S., Central America, the Dominican Republic, the EU, and Asia, Next Level Apparel has reinforced its organisational backbone to support complex multi-region operations. The appointment signals the company’s next chapter — where ethical production, efficiency, and customer trust remain central to sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
