Asics's income increased “significantly” to €70.5m

Asics has reported a consolidated net revenue increase of 44% cent year-on-year across all distribution channels for the year-to-date period ending June.

The sportswear brand and retailer’s trading update for its EMEA market also said operating income increased “significantly” to €70.5 million for the year-to-date.

Asics reported 52% year-on-year growth in wholesale channels across EMEA for the year-to-date, with the UK wholesale revenue alone seeing an increase of 50 per cent.

The sportswear giant added that it enjoyed continuing e-commerce growth, with an increase of 45% year-on-year for the year-to-date period.
