Arvind Ltd Reports Steady Q1 FY26 Performance; Garmenting Division Achieves Record Revenue

Arvind posts net profit of Rs 53.34 crore for March quarter

Arvind Ltd, one of India’s foremost textile and apparel conglomerates, kicked off FY26 on a steady note, reporting consolidated revenues of ₹2,006 crore for Q1, marking a 10% year-on-year (YoY) increase. EBITDA stood at ₹186 crore, up 14% YoY, while profit after tax (PAT) surged 35% YoY to ₹53 crore. Margins improved to 9.3%, reflecting the company’s operational efficiency despite external headwinds.

The standout performer for the quarter was the Garmenting Division, which posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹485 crore. This growth was fueled by the production of 9.8 million pieces and the onboarding of new global customers. The overall Textile Division registered a 14% YoY growth with revenues of ₹1,536 crore, underpinned by continued demand in both domestic and international markets.

Meanwhile, the Advanced Materials Division (AMD) reported a 7% YoY rise in revenue, reaching ₹351 crore. Notably, the division secured a ₹200 crore order under the Vande Bharat mass transport initiative. However, short-term margin pressures persisted, driven by order deferments and tariff-related disruptions.

Despite challenges from elevated input costs and the impact of recent US tariffs, Arvind remains optimistic for a stronger second half of the fiscal year. The company anticipates performance to align with its typical H1-H2 revenue split of 40:60, backed by robust export orders, a projected 14–17% increase in garment volumes, and the revival of high-value defence programmes within the AMD segment.

Looking ahead, Arvind has outlined a capital expenditure of ₹450–475 crore for FY26, aimed at expanding its manufacturing capacity. The company also sees strategic upside from the recently signed India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which is expected to enhance global sourcing and export opportunities.
