Arvind Fashions Limited (AFL) has announced the elevation of Nitesh Kanchan as the new Chief Executive Officer of its premium menswear brand Arrow. Currently serving as Chief Digital Officer, Kanchan will assume his new role effective 1 January 2026 and will continue to be a key member of AFL’s senior leadership team. The leadership transition follows the resignation of Anand Aiyer, who stepped down from the CEO position due to personal reasons after leading the brand for two and a half years and contributing significantly to its strategic direction and growth.
With over 24 years of experience across fashion, apparel, and beauty retail, Kanchan brings a strong blend of digital expertise, brand stewardship, and operational leadership to the role. His career includes senior positions with leading global and Indian brands such as Sephora, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Esprit, Louis Philippe, and Arrow. At Arvind Fashions, he has played a pivotal role in driving large-scale digital initiatives and previously led Sephora India, where he was instrumental in accelerating the brand’s expansion and market presence.
Having earlier served as Chief Operating Officer of Arrow, Kanchan possesses deep institutional knowledge of the brand’s product strategy, retail network, and operational framework. His appointment signals AFL’s intent to strengthen Arrow’s premium positioning while leveraging digital innovation and omni-channel growth. Arvind Fashions Limited continues to be one of India’s leading fashion and casualwear companies, with a strong portfolio that includes U.S. Polo Assn., Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Arrow, and homegrown label Flying Machine.
