PUMA Group has announced the appointment of Thomas John as its new Vice President of People and Organisation, effective October 16, 2025. With over three decades of global experience in human resources, Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge in talent management, organizational development, and HR leadership to the PUMA team.

Prior to joining PUMA, Thomas served as Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources at Landis+Gyr, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy and global HR transformation initiatives. He also held leadership positions at MANN+HUMMEL Gruppe, serving as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President HR, where he led comprehensive talent and culture programs across regions.

Thomas’s illustrious career also includes a long and impactful tenure at adidas, where he held several senior roles, including Senior Vice President HR, Vice President HR, and HR Director. During his time there, he spearheaded multiple initiatives in leadership development, learning, and talent strategy, contributing significantly to the company’s global growth and employee engagement.

Early in his career, Thomas gained international exposure through HR and administrative roles at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and MATO GmbH & Co. KG, building a solid foundation in people management and organizational excellence.
