Indian lingerie brand Candyskin opens first store in Maharashtra

Indian lingerie brand Candyskin has opened its first store in the financial capital of India, Mumbai at Veera Desai Road, Andheri West.

The store is spread over an area of 450 square feet and showcases all the latest collections of the brand along with their newly launched co-branded collection: Candyskin X MTV.

The lingerie brand is at this time present in 30 physical stores across the country and is considering to further fortify its retail presence in metros, Tier I and II cities.

Candyskin along with its retail expansion will also be adding new product categories to its portfolio in the year 2019.  The brand also entered the shapewear garments segment with the launch of their ‘Smoothskin’ collection on the occasion which will be available online and across all its retail outlets.

Notably, India’s lingerie market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14 percent by the year 2023, said a report by Research and Markets.

The optimistic future propels brands like Candyskin to explore more in this segment.
