Indian Apparel Trade Body AEPC To Host Fashion Forecasting Seminar

Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), the official body of apparel exporters in India, will host series Fashion Forecast Seminar in association with WGSN, a fashion trend forecasting company.

Kim Mannino and Amy Hendry, Brit Fashion Consultants have been invited to conduct the fashion forecast seminars for Spring/Summer 2020 & Autumn/Winter 2021 and seasons beyond.

The trend forecasting seminars will be held in March and April 2019.

The key influences of the season and the emergence of key macro fashion trend themes as per the Vision report will be highlighted at the event.

Men’s & women’s wear fashion forecast will also be made, including direction for colour, silhouette, materials/prints & graphics for men’s and women’.

The content will have a strong product focus, utilizing reports such as men’s and women’s design development. Denim Trends, Knitwear Trends, Kids Wear and Accessories Trend will also be discussed here.

The schedule & programme of the seminars are given below:

Seminar Schedule

Series 1 – Gurgaon, Mumbai, Tirupur and Bangalore

Speaker – Kim Mannino

Week – March 25 to March 29, 2019

On March 25, a Morning Session will be held at Apparel House, Gurgaon.

On March 27: At Poppys Vista Hotel P. Ltd., Tirupur.

On March 28: At Hotel The Capital, Bangalore.

On March 29: At Indian Merchant Chamber, Mumbai.

Series 2 – Noida, Kolkata, Ludhiana and Jaipur

Speaker – Amy Hendry

Week – April 8 to April 13, 2019

On April 8: At Hotel Radisson Blue, Noida.

On April 9: At Hotel Oberoi Grand, Kolkata.

On April 11: At Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana.

On April 13: At Hotel Fortune Select, Jaipur.

The fashion forecast event is expected to be a must-attend for merchandisers, fashion designers, industry associates, market consultants, fashion students, manufacturers, buyers/planners, retailers & brand promoters, etc.
