The Indian Textile Ministry is also supporting the park financially under the Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks (SITP).

The Park, which has the capacity to host 12 apparel and textile companies, will generate 7000 new jobs in the region.

A textile company has already opened and office at the Gobi Apparel Park last month, reportedly.

The park would have effluent and sewage treatment plants, uninterrupted power supply and wide roads, apart from a quality testing centre, a skill development centre and accommodation facility for 3,000 workers.

Approximately 2,500 people would be trained in the Park annually.

Other facilities and amenities such as a sports ground, an old age home and a community hall will also be there at the Park.
