In a powerful preview of what’s to come, India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), in collaboration with Garment Technology Expo (GTE), held a curtain raiser a brand show “Laces & Trim Show” that will be held concurrently with GTE. The curtain raiser event that was held at the India Habitat Center brought together various industry stalwarts and stakeholders. The newly launched show will be a focused platform dedicated entirely to fashion accessories, trims, and embellishments an integral part of manufacturing garments.
The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as industry leaders and key stakeholders gathered to support this visionary initiative. The curtain raiser was graced by eminent personalities including HKL Magu, Former Chairman, AEPC; Lalit Thukral, President, Noida Apparel Export Cluster; Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Exposition Mart Ltd.; Inderjit S Sahni, Chairman, GTE; Ricky Sahni, MD, GTE; Ambrish Chopra, Director, GTE, R.K. Malhotra, Ex Chairman EPCH, Mukesh Gupta, Director, IEML, RK Verma, ED, EPCH and several other senior professionals from industry who brought invaluable insights and encouragement to the event.

India’s trims segment needs visibility and recognition, and this show will provide just that. The garment manufacturers will be able to see variety in technology, trims and laces at the show.”

Planned as a niche, high-impact B2B platform, the Laces & Trim Show will spotlight a wide array of products such as laces, elastics, appliqués, sequins, fringes, embellishments, buttons, zippers, and designer accessories, catering to the evolving needs of designers, fashion brands, exporters, and manufacturers.
With sustainability and innovation at its core, the show aims to bridge the gap between creators and suppliers by encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and business matchmaking.
The curtain raiser set the tone for what promises to be a vibrant, design-led, and business-enabling exhibition, with participation expected from leading accessory manufacturers, design studios, and sourcing professionals.
The show will be held alongside GTE in 7-8-9 Nov at Ahmedabad.
