Epic Group announces the appointment of Nimal Perera as Vice President and Business Head, strengthening the company’s leadership team with a seasoned industry professional known for driving large-scale manufacturing excellence and strategic growth across the apparel and textile sector.
In his new role at Epic Group, Nimal will lead business strategy, operations, and overall performance, with a focus on strengthening customer partnerships, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving sustainable growth across global markets. His appointment reflects Epic Group’s continued commitment to leadership depth and long-term value creation.
Nimal brings with him extensive senior leadership experience, having most recently served as Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director at Ha-Meem Group. In this role, he led one of Bangladesh’s largest vertically integrated apparel manufacturing groups, overseeing industrial park operations, driving operational scale, improving productivity, and strengthening governance across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
Prior to this, Nimal spent nearly a decade with Ananta Group, where he held the role of Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding manufacturing capabilities, optimizing end-to-end operations, and supporting global brand partnerships. His leadership experience spans managing complex, multi-factory environments, aligning large workforces, and delivering consistent performance across demanding international markets.
With a proven track record across some of South Asia’s leading apparel manufacturing groups, Nimal Perera’s appointment as Vice President and Business Head is set to further reinforce Epic Group’s position as a global apparel solutions provider focused on operational excellence, scale, and sustainable growth.
