With an illustrious journey spanning over two decades, Darpan’s progression within Brandix reflects his deep expertise, strategic foresight, and consistent drive for operational excellence.
Throughout his tenure at Brandix, Darpan has been instrumental in transforming the company’s supply chain and sourcing frameworks to meet evolving global demands. As Group Head – Supply Chain, he successfully executed end-to-end strategies for a billion-dollar enterprise, overseeing raw material procurement, logistics, and supplier collaborations across markets. His leadership saw notable advancements in demand-supply integration, digitization, and supplier relationship management, setting new benchmarks in efficiency and agility.
Before that, as Group Head – Fabrics, Darpan led a $250M fabric category management operation, promoting a zero-based cost approach that optimized productivity across global sourcing hubs. Collaborating with Accenture, he helped roll out transformative operational structures, earning recognition for his ability to merge strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Darpan’s earlier roles at Brandix — from Head of Supply Chain for Intimate Apparels to Head of Sourcing and Business Head demonstrate his versatility across multiple verticals. He has championed lean methodologies, risk management systems, and data-driven dashboards to strengthen governance and decision-making, while mentoring teams to drive sustainable growth.
His career journey began with stints at Arvind Mills, Mafatlal Industries, and Matrix Clothing Pvt. Ltd., where he honed his skills in fabric development, R&D, and product innovation. These early experiences laid the foundation for his deep understanding of textile manufacturing and global sourcing dynamics.
