Alok Singh has stepped into his new role as Senior Manager – Buying (Non-Apps) General Merchandising at V-Bazaar Retail Pvt Ltd, marking another milestone in his distinguished career within India’s retail and sourcing landscape. With a deep-rooted expertise in non-apparel categories, Alok will play a key role in driving strategic buying, vendor partnerships and category growth across V-Bazaar’s diverse merchandise portfolio.
Bringing with him extensive experience across leading retail organisations, Alok has demonstrated strong capabilities in buying and merchandising for a wide range of product categories including plasticware, tableware, thermoware, utensils, kitchenware, home appliances, toys & sports, school stationery, gift & novelty items and cleaningware. His role has also involved international sourcing, particularly from China, covering home mart products, toys & games, lifestyle accessories and infant articles, ensuring competitive assortments aligned with evolving consumer demand.
Prior to this, Alok held a long and impactful tenure at V-Mart Retail Ltd., where he contributed significantly to strengthening non-apparel merchandising functions and building robust supplier ecosystems. His combined expertise in vendor management, B2B operations and category expansion positions him as a valuable asset to V-Bazaar’s growth journey.
