From the wide array of finishing and pressing solutions, the MACPI 320 line of jeans finishing machines is equipped with a new front pocket pressing device. The 320 carousel jeans finisher has a daily output of 4000 jeans, making it the most productive bottom finishing machine in the world. “The model 320 has already been installed succesfully in many countries across the US, EU and Asia and has won over the market due to its automation, layability and quality. That’s why this model is produced only in our headquarters located in the North of Italy”, said Enrico Carttabia, Managing Director of the company.



With the model 320, four jeans at a time can be handled by a single unit. While a pair of jeans is loaded onto a pressing-head with the help of a front and rear waistband locking mechanism, steam is blown into the jeans with the bottom hem of the legs locked and pressed by two separate clamp type pressing apparatus for each leg. In the next station, the front pockets and zipper fly are pressed with a vertically moving upper buck. Steam is blown again into the jeans with clamping of the bottom hems and on the last station, that pair of jeans is automatically unloaded onto a conveyor belt either individually or stacked as required. The machine only requires one operator for handling a complete unit, because of its computerised operations. The machine is equipped with features like waistband and legs size control, light indication for waistband oversize, legs oversize and machine stoppage due to any mechanical malfunction.

Enrico added, “Macpi 320 can drastically reduce the number of employees inside the companies; is able to produce one pair of jeans or trousers without pleats every eight seconds with only one operator. To reach the same production, normally four operators are required on four machines. This means more costs for the company in terms of maintenance, space, consumption and workforce.”

Energy consumption is also reduced to the minimum, as verified by the Audit certification that Macpi received as a green company and for its products; moreover, the space occupied by the machine is only 9 sqm. At the end, the automatic unloader with the conveyor eliminates manual jobs and creates a bundle of jeans ready to be shipped.

It promises to be the right machine for large-scale production and smart companies that look ahead to the future every day.
