Japanese fast-fashion retail brand Uniqlo has launched a brand-new global LifeWear campaign starring tennis legend Roger Federer and featuring “jeans that are the essence of comfort” (as it says).
The veteran can be seen talking about how clothing brings comfort to his life in the ad campaign and thus promoting collaboration with Uniqlo for the stretch denim.
“Clothes must feel comfortable and denim is a material I like a lot. When I select what I wear on a particular day, I put a lot of value on comfort because it’s important for me to feel relaxed all day,” says Federer.
The campaign encompasses TV commercials, in-store posters, websites and tells a story of Federer enjoying comfort in jeans, carrying the expression of LifeWear. In the campaign, he’s seen wearing Uniqlo Ezy jeans.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion can be seen playing the piano as well, which may surprise many.
It is pertinent to add here that Federer became the face of Uniqlo rand after ditching Nike back in the summer.
The 37-year-old tennis legend bagged a £ 227 million 10-year deal with the Japanese clothing company.
