John Lewis has launched a capsule collection of baby and children wear which are available to rent from kids’ wear rental platform, The little loop.
The collection, which includes 51 staple products from its spring/summer 22 John Lewis label, is available to rent as part of a trial.
Customers will be able to select John Lewis kidswear items to add to their subscription plan, with monthly plans starting from £18 for roughly six to seven products at a time.
The project is aimed at reducing the greenhouse gas footprint of its textile supply chains by 50% by 2030.
The company is considering launching womenswear rental “in the future”.
Bike Club is the UK’s first kids bike subscription service and offers a monthly subscription, starting from as little as £4.49.
John Lewis category lead Alan Wright said the service offered customers “a sustainable way to shop for even more of our customers.
