Textile chemical specialist Clariant to unveil ‘non-staining’ dyes at this upcoming fair

Headquartered near Basel, Switzerland, Clariant, a leader in specialty chemicals, will launch two non-staining Sanolin Lave Liquid dyes at the forthcoming SEPAWA 2018 which is slated to be held in Berlin, Germany, from October 10-12.

The current trend for affecting colours and fragrance matching in fabric softeners and acidic cleaners propelled the company to innovate.

Named Sanolin Lave Red A Liquid and Sanolin Lave Yellow S Liquid, the polymeric colourants are stable in acidic formulations such as liquid softeners and cleaners. These are also of high-tinting strength, great transparency and luminosity, and easy rinseability from skin and fabrics and surfaces.

Notably, Clariant’s new dyes offer a fresh alternative for brands to distinguish their products, respond to consumer preferences, and drive growth with various market reports indicating global growth in fabric softeners in the next five years.

“To attract today’s consumers, home care brands are focused on turning laundry and cleaning chores into convenient, enjoyable experiences. Colour is recognised for its emotional associations and the matching fragrance completes the sensual impression given to the product formulations. The new additions to our portfolio help formulators of fabric softeners and acidic cleaners to easily achieve such connotations,” said Angela Lachmann, Global Key Account & Marketing Manager Consumer Care, Business Unit Pigments, Clariant.
