Jack Launches Lamborghini URUS for the Sewing Industry

Jack Technology recently unveiled its new generation overlock machine, URUS, designed specifically for the sewing and textile industry. The grand launch took place on the evening of June 16th in Guangzhou, China.

Jack Launches Lamborghini URUS for the Sewing Industry

URUS boasts an exceptionally high speed for cross seams, effortlessly handling various fabrics with the finesse of a Lamborghini. This advanced machine made its debut at the 2024 product conference, attended by machinery distributors, customers, and media from over 30 locations in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, and other countries.

The URUS machine drew significant attention from experts and scholars in the sewing industry. Notable attendees included the chairman of the China Sewing Machinery Association, the vice president of the China Garment Association, and leaders from the Garment Associations of India and Bangladesh. They all praised Jack Technology’s innovative efforts.

As fashion and personalized clothing trends rise, the sewing and textile industry has shifted towards a “small orders and quick reorders” model. Traditional overlock machines often encounter issues like machine jams, fabric wrinkles, and broken needles or threads, especially when working with a variety of fabrics such as thick, thin, elastic, and hard materials.

Recognizing the industry’s need for a new generation overlock machine, Jack Technology integrated AI technology into their sewing equipment. Collaborating with top universities and research institutes, including Stanford University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and Zhejiang University, Jack Technology spent four years addressing these industry challenges, culminating in the launch of URUS.

URUS is equipped with an industry-leading AI full-speed feeding system, enabling it to seamlessly handle thick, yarn, elastic, and denim fabrics. Even with significant variations in fabric thickness, the machine maintains full speed without slowing down.

One standout feature of URUS is its “super brain,” which includes a million-level pressure-to-feed ratio model library. This system performs multimodal intelligent detection of fabric thickness changes at a speed of 32,000 times per second. When the fabric changes slightly, the machine instantly calculates and generates the optimal pressing and feeding force parameters.

Another unique feature is the Presser Foot Transformer and Smart Rhino Feeding technologies. The Presser Foot Transformer technology senses subtle changes in the fabric, achieving pressure transformation in just 0.00006 seconds and adjusting the pressure distribution force according to different fabric fluctuations. The Smart Rhino Feeding technology then accurately distributes power based on the fabric type, ensuring precise control and a comprehensive torque of up to 9.2 Nm.

URUS effortlessly handles various fabric thicknesses, including hoodies, jeans, yoga suits, and mesh yarn. Jack Technology envisions a future of unmanned sewing, believing that unmanned clothing production is the industry’s inevitable direction.

Jack Technology announced plans to fully integrate AI technology, developing machines through a combination of various templates and humanoid robots. This initiative aims to start a new era of intelligent production through AI implementation and practice.
