American sock manufacturer Bombas deploys Centric Software’s tech solutions

Bombas, a sock manufacturer, has deployed Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution to attain planned and operational digital transformation targets.

The company is growing swiftly and adding new product categories, but still manages through an Excel-based system, from creating tech packs to tracking samples. The company informs that it ends up with a lot of duplicate reports from different departments and as its is widening its operations, it aims to make sure that all the data is stored in one accessible place accurately.

To that need, Centric Software provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ technology with the all-inclusive views and configurations for design, development, production and merchandising.

Via Centric PLM, Bombas aims to eradicate the call for so many e-mails and streamline tech pack creation, tracking of samples and packaging. The software provides enterprise-class merchandise planning, product development, sourcing, business planning, quality, and collection management functionality tailored for fast-moving consumer industries. Thereby, accelerating product innovation and reducing time to market.

Notably, Bombas contributes a pair of socks for every pair it sells. Up till now, more than 9 million pairs of socks have been donated by the company to needy people.
