Textile technology provider Picanol to launch its newest rapier at ITMA-CITME ’18

Headquartered at Belgium, Picanol that specialises in the development, production and sales of weaving machines and technology for the textile manufacturing industry will introduce its latest rapier, the GTMax-i 3.0 at ITMA-CITME 2018.

The textile technology fair is scheduled to be held from 15-19 October 2018, at National Exhibition and Convention Centre, in (Shanghai) China.

Markedly, rapier GTMax-i 3.0 is the successor model of GT-Max and GTMax-i which is better looking and has an improved user-friendliness.

The machine’s gripper drive and unbreakable sley drive and the addition of advanced BlueBox  electronic platform  have further increased the production speeds. The company will launch 4 such machines at the show.

While GTMax-i 3.0 will be weaving a denim fabric, the second would be weaving a zebra style curtain fabric. A decoration fabric will be weaved on GTMax-i 3.0 with jacquard at Bonas booth, while on the Tongxiang booth, a label will be produced.

At ITMA-CITME 2018, Picanol will also exhibit OptiMax-i  190  cm  weaving  para-aramide  and  shirting; airjet  machine OMNIplus  Summum; and TERRYplus Summum with jacquard weaving high-quality terry fabric.
