This Indian textile company is using sustainable fabric to make denim

Bhaskar Denims is a part of the Dainik Bhaskar group now known as Bhaskar Industries Pvt. Ltd. It is a vertically integrated denim mill and promoted bi- stretch fabric a 4 way stretch fabric which offers stretch in both the warp and weft, creating better elasticity, better arrangement in construction, more comfort, better movement and performance. It also has a length recovery action, meaning it won´t sag or lose its shape even after prolonged use.

The company also offers warp stretch fabric which has been added into the vertical warp weave, which allows for flexibility up-and-down. Warp stretch fabric provides a regular fit that offers a little extra room in the thigh with much comfort and high stretch. FEEL FRESH a yarn property has been incorporated through the use of SILVER which is known for antimicrobial metal capable of preventing the growth and even killing many different species of bacteria and fungi is incorporated in the fibre there by in yarn in the form of ions, It releases +ve silver ions continuously that break down bacteria cell bodies to prevent further growth of bacteria and thus avoids odour.

Their latest product is a Shibori print which is 100% Tencel, the weave incorporated is dobby with a new design twist.
