Myntra Secures Franchise Rights for UK Fashion Retailer NEXT in India

In a significant collaboration, NEXT, the esteemed UK-based fashion retailer, has extended its partnership with Myntra by granting distribution and management rights to Myntra Jabong Pvt. Ltd.

This strategic move empowers Myntra Jabong Pvt. Ltd to distribute NEXT’s diverse range of products and bolster its omnichannel presence in India.

Renowned for its timeless contemporary styles and exceptional quality, NEXT boasts over 700 wholly owned and franchise stores worldwide, solidifying its position as the UK’s largest fashion retailer.

Through this partnership, Myntra will establish NEXT branded stores across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, alongside a robust online presence on Myntra’s platform.

The franchise agreement enables Myntra to cater to the premium segment of shoppers seeking to elevate their everyday style with NEXT’s extensive range of children’s, women’s, and men’s apparel.

“We are hugely excited to be working with Myntra in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets and very much look forward to seeing what can be achieved together,”

“We are thrilled to deepen our association with NEXT and strategically build its omni-channel presence in the country. With a successful trajectory of growing NEXT online in India, our first year of working together has resulted in establishing the right product, audience and price fit in the country. With a strong playbook in exponentially building adoption for global brands ground-up, we are looking forward to unlocking the next phase of growth in the brand’s India scale-up journey,”

commented Nandita Sinha, Chief Executive Officer, Myntra.

As per the agreement, 8-10 NEXT stores are slated to open across key Indian cities in the initial years, enhancing NEXT’s accessibility to Indian consumers. Moreover, the association opens avenues for Myntra to introduce other NEXT-owned brands to the Indian market.

This development bolsters Myntra’s portfolio of internationally licensed brands and underscores its commitment to offering diverse fashion choices to its customers.
