The 61st Annual General Meeting of the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), held on September 27, 2024, saw the election of a new Managing Committee. Leading the newly elected officials for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 terms is Mr. Santosh Katariya, who has been appointed as the President of CMAI.

Leadership and Industry Experience
Mr. Santosh Katariya is a well-established veteran of the apparel industry with over 17 years of experience in the ready-made garment sector. He is currently the Managing Director of Peppermint Clothing Pvt. Ltd., a Pune-based company that has successfully built its brand, PEPPER MINT.
Before taking over as the President, Mr. Katariya served as the Regional Chairman of the Western Regional Advisory Committee and as the Hon. General Secretary of the CMAI for four years. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the industry will now be instrumental in guiding CMAI through the challenges and opportunities ahead.
